Day 18 - Friday

This morning we stayed home and cleaned the house while R studied for her test. In the afternoon Auntie and Uncle went to the dentist -- Uncle is getting his wisdom teeth removed. Auntie needed some things from the groce,ry store and decided to send NRJ all by themselves....
We headed out confidently (ok, not really). N was carrying the list which had all the spanish words we would possibly need. We thought. Anyways, so we are walking by this huge fence and the paper somehow magically floated out of her hand, through the fence. So she goes and talks to the security guard, in an effort to retrieve the paper. Unfortunatly, the only revelant spanish word that came to mind was "papel". The security guards eventually let us get it, laughing when they realized what we were trying to say.
We get to the store and proceeded to get the items on the list without any more incidents. Well, almost. Cheese was on the list, and we had to get someone cut it for us. That wasn't the problem, trying to find the cheapest cheese was. We didn't know how say "cheapest", so we tried asking for the price on several different cheeses. Out of desperation, we just selected the lowest price.
So we head to the checkout and leave the store. As soon as we walk out, we realized we didn't pay for some tortillas. So back in we go to pay for them. We get confused with the bills and turn to the lady and say, in english, "This one???" lol poor lady...
Well I think thats it for today.... :)
