Day 4-Friday

Today was....drum roll please....Shopping day! :D
We got to visit a few grocery stores today. The first was quite interesting, it was mainly a fruit and veggie store...Lots of new things I've never seen before!

Random fact: Taxi's are terrible drivers here!!

We tried this new thing...It tasted kinda like cornbread, but i don't remember the name....

We also tried two traditional breads here, a bread made out of yucca

.:.pan de yuca.:.

and

a cheese filled bread with some sweets
.:.almojabana.:.

We stopped to get some flowers....They have flower shops here with all sorts of flowers, most pretty affordable!

A pretty common sight: horses pulling carts...they slow traffic quite a bit! :P

At stop lights, it's quite common to see some type of entertainer....this guy juggled for us!

Back home, N,R, and Auntie had a fun time cooking, while J learned to creatively fold napkins!

.:.Auntie and Nitha cooking.:.

Fact: Almost EVERYTHING here are sold in bags! Examples: Ketchup, water, OJ, Mayo, Milk...the list could go on and on....
.:.Milk in a bag!.:.

The evening was spent playing games until sunset and then relaxing...
